1st Day : Ouarzazate – Chigaga

Departure from Ouarzazate in the morning on a 4WD car. Direction of South to Chigaga through the Draa Valley. After a mountain road up to Agdez you reach the splendid palmgrove with many fortified villages along the Draa river. Sometimes on the track, sometimes on the road….you arrive in Zagora then in Tamgrout (famous for its green pottery). The road finishes in M’hamid (last village of the Draa Valley and beginning of the desert). Lunch is planned under nomad tent at “Le Petit Prince camp” at about 7 km after M’Hamid. After a rest in this wonderful desert landscape, your driver continue the way on a sandy track up to the high dunes of Chigaga. Arrival before the sunset. Dinner and night at camp under nomad tents near the high dune.

2nd day : Chigaga – Ouarzazate

Early wake up for the sun rise and a camel ride on the high dunes.  After breakfast, departure for Ouarzazate on a long desert track between the Erg Chigaga and the dry river Drâa. You will join the Iriqui Lake and Foum Zguid village. Your circuit finishes by the road, from Foumzguid to Ouarzazate, after a stop in Tazenakht for watching the famous carpets. Your driver drops you at your hotel in the end of the afternoon.
