1st day: Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges

Departure from your hotel in the morning along the lake and the golf of Ouarzazate, then track through the palm grove of Skoura where you discover magnificent kasbahs. Back to the road for El Kelâa M’gouna, big village at the altitude of 1450 m Then you take the track of Roses Valley through  Ait Saîd, Tourbist, and Tamalout, which are fortified small villages. In Bou-Thahrar village: about three hours guided pedestrian walkin the gardens near the M’goun river, passing through small villages interesting by their traditional architecture. After that you continue the track to join the Ait -Youl Kasbah. After a rest for lunch, splendid road of the Dades Gorges : wonderful colours of the rocks, beautiful kasbahs, specific landscape…. Dinner and night at a small guesthouse in the gorges.

2nd day:Dades Gorges - N'kob

After breakfast : pedestrian walk along the Dades river near the “monkey’s fingers” (approximately 2 hours) ; road to Boumalne. Then your driver takes a mountain track  and reaches the Tizi n’Tazazert pass in the heart of the Saghro Mountain. Arrival in N’Kob in the middle of the afternoon and rest at the swimming pool of the hotel or walk in the nature (according to the season) ; dinner and night in a typical kasbah-hotel.

  

3rd Day: N'kob - Zagora

First part of the itinerary  on the road, between N’Kob and Tansikt ; second part on the track.  In Tansikt starts the Draa Valley with its thousands of palm trees ; Discovery of magnificent landscapes and typical old villages along the Draa river ; you follow the left side of the river up to Zagora.  Evening in a comfortable hotel in Zagora (with swimming pool).

4th Day: Zagora- M’hamid

After breakfast, departure to M’hamid. Arrival in Tamgroute to visit the Koranic library and the pottery factory as well as the underground lanes. Continuation on the track throw the palm grove of Ouled Brahim and the El Faiya Reg up to M’Hamid, last village of the valley before the desert ; The camp is located in the middle of the sand dunes at a few kilometres of M’Hamid. You’ll join the camp with a camel before the sunset (easy one hour ride through the last palm trees and the beginning of the sand) Dinner and night under nomad tents at ‘Le Petit Prince camp’ (fully equipped with toilets and showers….carpets, mattresses, sheets, blankets, pillows…).

5th Day: M'hamid -Chigaga

After breakfast, walk to visit the old village of M’Hamid (typical architecture) and tea at the inhabitant. Our driver picks you up there, to continue the way inside the desert…A sandy track  leads your to Chigaga ; rest for lunch in full desert (pic nic on shadow of a tamaris or a palm tree).  Arrival on the high dunes of Chigaga before the sun set ; dinner under the stars and night under nomad tent at a small camp.

6th Day: Chigaga - Ouarzazate

Wake up early in the morning to assist to the sunrise. After breakfast, long desert track between Erg Chigaga and the dry river Drâa. You will see the Iriqui Lake and Foum Zguid village. Then your driver takes the road of Taznakht (stop to visit carpets factory) and drops you at your hotel in Ouarzazate in the end of the afternoon.
